Snookerstars the Exhibition Tour 2008

On Friday 22nd of February stars of world snooker come to capital city of Czech Republic Prague for the first time. Exhibition was part of 3 exhibition tour, which continue in German Hamm and Munich.
To Prague comes 6-times world champion Steve Davis OBE, Shaun Murphy - world champion of 2005,and world No. 10 in provisional ranking Ryan Day-finalist of Malta Cup 2007. John Higgins MBE - world champion of 1998 and 2007 arrived later. The reason of it was that he lost his cue on his flight from Glasgow to London.
It was possible to buy a ticket which included meeting with players in their hotel Art, where was prepared a small sat-up with a possibility to take a sign. This meeting with players and also with referee Jan Verhaas was very nice.
Programme in sports hall BC Sparta Prague on Letná had lag but because of professional attitude of our commentator Michal Šíma and all of players and referees was it at the end great experiance that could our fans had.
Exhibition starts with match of Czech players Ormiston and Fang. They played on 2 frames and with the end of the black. Match won Fang 2-1 and get to the quarterfinal, where he can pick out opponent and he picked out Steve Davis. This match was judge by Jan Verhaas, one of the most honoured professional referee.
Second match opened Shaun Murphy against Ryan Day. This was best of 3 frames match. Shaun Murphy won 2-1. This match was held by German referee Bernie Mickeleit.
Third match was judge by German referee Sandy Müller between Steve Davis and Fang. Steve won also 2-1.
After the break competition for player and on person from audience took place. Shaun Murphy won.
Before next break showed Steve Davis his trickshots and entertained audience with his typical humour.
After 11 p.m. came to hall actual world champion John Higgins with his found cue and he played in the final with Shaun Murphy. Shaun made the hightest break of exhibition 126 and beated John Higgins in the best of 5 match 3-1.
After this match took place autogramiad.
