QUESTIONS OF THE MONTH - JANUARY 2013
27th January 2013
Vladena: Hi Mark, shortly after your amazing winning at the UK Championship in York and
the EPTC 6 in Germany there is the next fantastic victory at the Masters. You reached excellent success at the this tournament because after 2008 and 2010 it is your third winning. Mark, big congratulation to your deserved success.
When you compare these three winnings, tell me, how each victory influenced or impressed
on your professional career?
Mark: The first win was my first 'Major' title and it gave me the confidence to go on to won other events.
2012 was a difficult year for me, so to bounce back and win the UK and the Masters was a great boost to me that I can come back to win Majors again!
Vladena: Which match was the most difficult for you this year?
Mark: Probably the Stuart Bingham match. Stuart played superb to go 5-1 up and I didn't really do much wrong!! To come back and win was a great feeling.
Vladena: You like a very busy atmosphere at the Ally Pally in London. I admire how you can concentrate on your matches. Did you have to put in a lot of effort on yourself in this field or have you never had problems with it?
Mark: No, I seem to always perform better when there's a bigger crowd, It seems to bring out
the best in me.
Vladena: You are experiencing a hectic time. After the end of Masters in London you are going to take part in the Championship League in Essex. At the weekend Shoot-Out will wait you. Next week there is the ranking tournament German Masters. You are very successful in Germany, how much are you looking forward to Berlin?
Mark: I always to forward to playing in Germany. Again, there's is always a big crowd and great support.
I just hope that I can rest and recover before I play!
Vladena: Thank you, Mark. All the best until next time.
